A quick post to let you know I've started my first project; it's Elena's offering - The Fran Lebowitz Reader. My review post will follow when I've actually, you know, read it.
But, based on the number of pages E has folded over - her time-tested method of marking particular pages that have something she wants to return to, read again, share with friends - it's going to be a great read!

The Lit Girls Blog is a project that Jaclyn devised to force her to broaden her literary horizons and allow her to kill some time. She recruited Elena, and so it began.
The plan: We'll ask for recommendations of books from friends, families and whomever else. We'll then divide up and read the books, and post our reviews (rife with our usual wit and brilliance) on the site. Reviews will be scored on a scale of 1 to 5 Strings of Pearls.
Questions, suggestions and whatever else you're after can be posted in the comments section.
