Okay here's three from me. I hesitate to say favourites because that list changes regularly.

1/ 'What I Loved' by Siri Hustvedt
2/ 'Novel About My Wife' by Emily Perkins (and you can borrow it, I just finished reading it)
3/ 'numberninedream' by David Mitchell (Jaclyn you might especially enjoy for its Japanese setting. I'd lend it to you but Rose borrowed it and never returned it!)
