The Lit Girls Blog is a project that Jaclyn devised to force her to broaden her literary horizons and allow her to kill some time. She recruited Elena, and so it began.
The plan: We'll ask for recommendations of books from friends, families and whomever else. We'll then divide up and read the books, and post our reviews (rife with our usual wit and brilliance) on the site. Reviews will be scored on a scale of 1 to 5 Strings of Pearls.
Questions, suggestions and whatever else you're after can be posted in the comments section.
It's like this. (With less masculine arms, admittedly.)
XOXO

Okay here's three from me. I hesitate to say favourites because that list changes regularly.
1/ 'What I Loved' by Siri Hustvedt 2/ 'Novel About My Wife' by Emily Perkins (and you can borrow it, I just finished reading it) 3/ 'numberninedream' by David Mitchell (Jaclyn you might especially enjoy for its Japanese setting. I'd lend it to you but Rose borrowed it and never returned it!)
